Znousland 4 is the 4th album produced by Znous.
Salih is an artistic culmination and continuation of the previously published article “We Are Not Oriental Metal” on znousland.net. It critiques orientalism and the Eurocentric perspective that perpetuates colonial theories, imposing a racist vision and reality upon the world.
Menish Msemah is an elegy for the shattered dream of a dignified life in the motherland. an eulogy of self-consolation and a curse on the oppressors.
Rameem is an epic of resurrection and return from the abyss of depression and psychological turmoil provoked by a perilous and a hopeless reality.
Sakret el-Mout is a nouba about consolidating the roots of identity and confronting the multifaceted evil in its different manifestations and scales.
7 Shaltaat is a stance against one of the region’s most harmful old traditions.
Nahki Maa el-Hoot is the story of earth facing ecological terrorism and climate changes on its own. It underscores the ecological crisis in Tunisia & the world.
Leklem Lemrassa is a cover of original song written in 1972 by the morrocan band “Jil Jilala”, renowned for rebelling against bad customs and traditions.
